About Us

Owners Josh and Mariah Blalock met at Brock Baptist church in the fall of 2014. They got engaged in July of 2015. They became Mr. & Mrs. in December of 2015 at the very same church they met. God blessed them with a baby girl in 2018. Soon after that, they surprised everyone with a little boy just 1 month before the pandemic in 2020. Both Josh and Mariah were working full-time when COVID struck, and they lost their jobs. It was by the grace of God that they both received unemployment benefits. Turning a negative into a positive, they decided to go into business together. They used that money to invest in their family and make a brighter future for their kids. That is how Aim Pest Control, LLC, was founded. They wanted the opportunity to help the communities in and around Sulphur, all while being able to stay home with their young kids. Pest control in Southern Oklahoma is an important issue, as the region is prone to various types of pests, including insects, rodents, and plant pathogens. These pests can cause significant harm to crops, livestock, and forests, as well as to human health. Therefore, pest control is an essential aspect of life in Southern Oklahoma.

Southern Oklahoma is known for its warm and humid climate, which creates an ideal environment for pests to thrive. The region is home to various types of pests, including insects such as aphids, thrips, and mites, rodents like mice and rats, and plant pathogens like fungal diseases. These pests can cause significant damage to crops and forests, and can also spread diseases to humans and animals. Southern Oklahoma is also known for its abundant creepy crawlers such as spiders, including the Fiddleback and Black Widow, scorpions, cockroaches, including the German, Oriental, Brown Banded, and American cockroach, ants, fleas, ticks, and more.

With our help, you can achieve a pest free environment. We utilize several different methods when it comes to pest control.
To control pests in Southern Oklahoma, a variety of methods can be used, including cultural, physical, biological, and chemical methods. Cultural methods involve changing the environment to make it less suitable for pests. This can include crop rotation, using resistant crop varieties, and improving soil fertility. Physical methods involve physically removing pests or barriers to prevent pests from reaching their target. For example, this can include hand picking, trapping, and exclusion.

Biological pest control is the use of natural enemies of pests to control them. This method is environmentally friendly and often more sustainable than chemical methods. For example, parasites and predators can be used to control insect pests, and diseases can be used to control plant pests. However, biological control can be slow and may not provide immediate results.

Chemical pest control involves the use of chemicals to control pests. This can include insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, and rodenticides. Chemical pest control is often the most effective method for controlling pests quickly, but it can also have negative impacts on the environment, including the risk of chemical residue in food and the development of pesticide resistance in pests. Therefore, chemical pest control should be used in a responsible manner, taking into account the potential environmental impact.

In Southern Oklahoma, the choice of pest control method depends on several factors, including the type of pest, the severity of the infestation, and the environment in which the pest occurs. For example, chemical methods may be the most effective for controlling a severe infestation of pests, but the cost of the chemicals may make other methods a more desirable option. In addition, the cost and benefits of each method must be considered, as well as the availability of resources, such as water and labor.
